Branchburg, NJ (March 30, 2017) – Two years ago this April, local Fire Fighters, Police, and Rescue services contained and extinguished one of the worst fires the Building Material Industry has seen in a very long time at Mid-State Lumber (MSL) in Warwick, NY.
The MSL Family thanks all of the Fire, Police, and Rescue Personnel for their acts of bravery and for all of their service efforts. We also want to express our appreciation to the Township of Warwick for support during the re-building period. Thank you to all of our suppliers for your patience and flexibility as we re-grouped to move our business forward.
As of today, MSL – Warwick, NY is a state of the art facility, dedicated to servicing the Hudson Valley of New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire markets. Situated on 19 acres, with twin rail spurs, over 1,000 racks for material handling, and a new fleet of Eco Friendly Tractors, MSL is up and running, delivering best in class products daily into these markets. Being conscious of the community and the environment, all forklifts have been converted to propane to reduce noise and carbon pollution.
Warwick is also a key Reload Center for Commodity Lumber and Plywood, which is sold to dealers from Boston to Philadelphia.
Poised for growth again, with the Warwick facility fully operational, additional service capacity has been created for the other branches to increase service levels to the dealers throughout the Mid-Atlantic. In the near future, MSL will be enhancing service levels into Delaware and South.
